Honestly I don't know what the bad ratings are about. I came here for my first time. I had the fried rice with chow mein orange chicken and teriyaki chicken I cleaned the whole plate very delicious. I would definitely come back.
Been coming here for years, I usually order platters for my family and they always make everything fresh.
I suggest ordering through the website / modern eats because the food came in 30 mins! Super fast, love the shrimp and broccoli dish with black bean sauce. Unfortunately there wasn't any sauce in the bottom so it was pretty bland. Veggies were cooked to perfection. I also bought their butterfly shrimp. It looked like too much breading but it actually ended up being perfect. Their sweet and sour sauce is amazing
This little place should not be ignored. Bamboo express is nestled inside a small strip mall near downtown LA, less than five minutes from staples center. The outside appearance is your standard city strip mall feel. There's parking both on the street and reserved spots directly in front. You're immediately greeted when you walk in. Reminder, this isn't a table service restaurant but it is clean. You immediately see the pre-made items which are easily available. But, don't stop there. Peruse the menu and you will see many items which can be made for you and yes they are surprisingly good. I have enjoyed their soups, combo fried rice and chicken chow mein. The prices are fair, service is friendly and food is good, especially when you order off the menu. Good job Bamboo Express...I'm there once a week.
This place hast the best BOBA!!!! Don't be fooled, this hidden gem has a great TARO SMOOTHIE!!! I love it more than from itsbobatime. I recommend everyone try their boba. It was very fresh and filled with a lot of mini honey boba. Best Boba in town!! They even ask if you want whip cream!
